Experience
I have many years of teaching experience in King’s College London and University College London. Completed Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (a 2 year course between 2007-2009) at University College London; was granted Fellow of the UK High Education Academy in 2009; passed IELTS test in 2011 with the scores - Reading 8.5, Listening 8.0, Speaking 8.0, Writing 8.0, followed by the PLAB test, which enabled me to obtain full registration with a license to practice in the UK. I Started teaching IELTS in 2014. The General Medical Council (GMC) began to formally recognise OET for overseas-trained doctors for registration purposes from 8 February 2018. Since then I have been teaching OET as well. Being a former candidate myself, I know precisely what the students need to do to succeed. As a current practising doctor, I use a lot of real-life scenarios/examples in my tuition, which are not available to tutors of pure language teaching background. My “special touch” has been a feature liked by students. I teach both doctors and nurses.

Hobbies
I enjoy leaning and teaching languages. Apart from being a native speaker of Chinese, I also enjoy reading and speaking Japanese. I practise Taiji in my spare time.
